In My Mailbox 1

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren and originally inspired by Alea at Pop Culture Junkie, used to showcase the books we bought, borrowed, got for review...

My first IMM! Last week I bought this four books that I though I had totally missed out from 2011. And I'm really excited about reading them! When they arrived I was practically hyperventilating. All the covers are gorgeous, even more beautiful than I thought.

The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi
The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater
Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor

I have already started with Daughter of Smoke an Bone and oh-my-gosh! It's incredibly beautiful, addicting and I can't wait to finish it.

Cinder by Marissa Meyer

I've read and reviewed Cinder, and I can't stop myself from recommending it all over again. I found this one on my local bookstore, which is a big coincidence (they don't have that many English books) and I bought it right away, of course.

I absolutely LOVED Daughter of Smoke and Bone! Shatter Me was really good, too!

The Hunger Games and Cinder are both my to-read, so hopefully I get to them soon. :)

I read "Daughter of Smoke and Bone" at the beginning of the year, and even though it had a couple of issues, I still really enjoyed it and I'm looking forward to seeing the next book of the series.

Your layout is so pretty!

And you have excellent book taste. I just got the Hunger Games series for Christmas and we both have to read them before the movie comes out. *feels pressure*

I haven't been really interested in Scorpio Races, which is strange considering I like Maggie's books. BUT, Shatter Me is an amazing story. I liked Daughter of Smoke and Bone as well!

And CINDER IS MADE OF AWESOME. Totally loved it and was happily surprised to like it as much as I did. Glad you enjoyed it.

Have an amazing reading week!

That's a nice haul:) I loved Daughter of Smoke and Bone and The Hunger Games very much. I saw that you recommend Cinder. I didn't think that it's my type of book, but I'll give it a try (only heard good things about it)
