Follow Friday (11)

Follow Friday is a weekly meme hosted at Parajunkee & Alison Can Read , used to meet new friends from the blogging world!

Q: What is one book that you would be nervous to see a movie adaption of because you think the movie could never live up to the book?

That's what happens to me with most movie adaptations of books. I'm glad there'll be a movie adaptation, but I always fear it will be nothing like the book. I've been hearing The Hunger Games was actually very true to the book. I'm so glad! But now I'm dreading how The Host movie will turn out to be. I LOVED the book, so I really hope they don't change much in the movie.

I didn't really enjoy The Hunger Games movie- I found it kinda boring although Katniss is good! I got The Host this week so I need to read that!

I was so glad when I saw The Hunger Games movie and it was actually good. Admittedly, some bits were left out, but that was only to be expected.

I have to admit, I never really got on with reading The Host - it didn't captivate me.

Ah well.

Happy Friday!

I hope you'll enjoy Hunger Games, Sophie! I love the movie, even though there are parts that make me sad because they can't quite capture the intensity. I want to watch The Host - hopefully they will do great job on it! Can't wait to hear you gushing about Hunger Games movie when you've done watching it! <3

Have a lovely weekend! :)

I've never read The Host but I can definitely identify with being nervous someone will ruin your vision of what you've read. I hope it'll rock as much as The Hunger Games did!

Also, happy FF! Just sneaking through to say hey. I'm a new follower! I hope you'll stop by & visit me too.

I totally agree! I really loved the host and am pretty protective of it lol so they better do it justice!

The Hunger Games movie was AMAZING, Sophie!! I'm almost giddy with anticipation waiting for your to watch it -- I'm hoping you'll love it as much as I did! (Although that may be hard because of how much I adored it LOL)

But I'm really worried about the Host movie too! The trailer you showed for it a while ago looked so cool (they got the eye thing spot on), but there's always still always a chance that things could turn out like the Twilight movies or the directors could decide to make a twist unhappy ending, which would be AWFUL. If they kill off any of my fave characters... Let's just say the producers won't be happy people :P

I hope you have a beautiful, springy, and warm weekend, Sophie! :) <3
