Follow Friday (14)

Follow Friday is a weekly meme hosted at Parajunkee & Alison Can Read , used to meet new friends from the blogging world!

Q: What is one thing you wish you could tell your favorite author?

I've been following authors on twitter and on their blogs, and that's helped me realize how humble, how human and down to earth they are (because I'd honestly treat them like celebrities or something like that because they're like idols for me). So, of course, first I'd thank the author to no end for writing that amazing book. And then I'd encourage them to keep writing!

A nice thanks is always the best thing you could say to an author. Hope you have a good friday :)

Hopping through. I love "getting to know" authors through Twitter. I agree that it makes them more personable.

Popping in! I so agree! My favorite part of blogging has really been connecting with authors in a way that makes them so much more real, and I think realizing how awesome and human they are has only made me enjoy their books more! It's awesome to think that for all of us who have authors still living, in all likelihood we will get the chance to talk to them.

I love your blog title, by the way.

I'm a new follower! Feel free to visit my FF!

Aww, Sophie! I just LOVE your answer so much that I wish it was tangible so I could give it a bear hug! ♥ A lot of people treat authors like celebrities and I guess that they are sort of like that, but they're also real people with real worries and real flaws and I adore them even more for that. I've talked to a ton of authors and they're all so down to earth and fabulous -- that's why I think that all authors need to know what you want to tell them, because your answer just warmed my tiny little heart! :')

I hope you have the most amazing weekend, Sophie! I heart you, I heart you, and -- oh yeah! I HEART YOU ♥
